Broadwater Farm, Tottenham

Broadwater Farm in Tottenham, North London is receiving a new groundbreaking Inclusive Learning Campus. Work on this ambitious Learning Campus commenced in July 2010 and is the first of its kind anywhere in the country.
The building is an ‘inclusive learning campus’ and will bring together support for children with different educational needs under one roof. The new campus will provide new teaching spaces around a central shared zone, housing a hall, gym, library and hydrotherapy pool.
There will also be an amphitheatre, sensory garden, wildlife pond and horticultural area, external teaching, hard and soft play areas, sand and water play area; and a multi use games area. Landscaping and a central community area are other important parts of the project.
The new building is constructed on the site of the existing schools, necessitating a phased construction & occupation, sequenced over a 22 month period completing in September 2012.
