Cynon Valley Neighbourhood Hospital.
The new community hospital which is due to open its doors in April 2011 will dramatically improve the healthcare provision to the surrounding communities.
The 13,000 sq m, two-storey hospital will provide 128 beds for rehabilitation and intermediate care. In addition, there will be women and children’s services, a large supporting therapy function, a range of outpatient clinics as well as a mental health unit for out-patient care and elderly in-patient care.
The building has been designed to integrate into the surrounding landscape, making use of green roofs and green spaces to lower the overall impact. MJN Colston are responsible for the supply installation and part design packages of the following Services:
